ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Together with more than 1,200 producing fishermen in Wando, Jeollanam-do, which produces more than 80% of all the abalones produced in Korea, Central Government, and the local government Wando-gun, I have founded Wando Abalone Co., Ltd.

The Wando Abalone Co., Ltd, since its establishment in 2009, has grown in the most rapid and stable manner among all the city and local distributors thanks to the support on all fronts from the relevant agencies including Wando-gun and fishermen who are the shareholders as well as producers.

With the unremitting efforts of fishermen who are both shareholders and producers, and with the strong supports of Wando county and other relevant departments, Wando abalone Co., Ltd., an enterprise with short history, is developing most rapidly and stably in the industry.

Wando Abalone Co., Ltd. is number one domestically regarding exportation and sales of all abalone related companies, but we aim to become the number one company in the abalone industry of the entire world. Abalone is a future food resource, so based on quality, all our employees will creatively do our best at our position based on harmony and cooperation, with regard to distribution, processing, and exportation.

Now, to make a new leap, Wando Abalone Co., Ltd. will begin with constructing the biggest processing plant in the country to actively respond to domestic market as well as expanding exportations to Japan, and making advancements into Chinese exportation market, which is the largest abalone consuming country in the world.

Accordingly, as the CEO of Korea’s sole abalone fishermen corporation, I will play a central role in the abalone industry, such as production, distribution, processing, exportation, and technology development, and like the company’s vision of “the 1st class abalone product distributor in the world loved by customers ”, I will be committed to doing our best so that the brand value of Wando Abalone Co., Ltd. will be recognized highly overseas.
